Victoriaville: 35 shows to offer as gifts to enjoy culture all year round
On the occasion of the holiday season, the cultural space of Victoriaville Le Carré 150 offers you 35 ideas for cultural outings to offer those around you (or yourself!), to rediscover the fun of outdoor shows.
Various packages are available to plan quality time with your loved ones throughout the year. Humor, music, contemporary dance, circus… there’s something for everyone, at an affordable price!
Until December 24, Le Carré 150 offers its programming through three types of packages. First of all, the A la carte festive packages lets you create a duo of shows for $75 or even a trio for $99 from a wide selection, with discounts of 20% to 40% off the regular price.
Then, when buying a ticket for one of these two shows: Nicole – Les chansons d’une vie or La Corriveau, the second ticket is 50% off.
Finally, the “We go out as a family” package offers two shows for $40, to be chosen from each of the two categories offered.

To have a good laugh
“Turn off” your brain for a night thanks to the comedy shows of Rachid Badouri, Philippe Laprise, Phil Roy, Virginie Fortin, Jo Cormier, Comédie Star guests, Mariana Mazza, Pierre-Luc Pomerleau, Dominic Paquet , PA Méthot, Christian Bégin, Guy Nantel and Jérémy Demay.
To travel through time
Relive your memories of Nicole’s show – Les chansons d’une vie: Marie-Élaine Thibert, Marie Michèle Desrosiers and Annie Blanchard pay tribute to the great achievements of Nicole Martin. As for the musical theater La Corriveau – La soif des corbeaux, it revisits one of Quebec’s most important legends.
For music lovers
Let yourself be carried away by the rhythm and sound of music with Compagnie Créole, Louis-Jean Cormier, Martine St-Clair, Joe Bocan Marie Carmen and Marie Denise Pelletier, Krystel and Éloi from the Star Académie, Richard Abel accompanied by Claudette Dion , as well as a tribute to Phil Collins and Genesis by Martin Levac. Classical music is also not left out of the show featuring soprano Marianne Lambert and harpist Valérie Milot, who will perform arias by Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Sgambati, Mozart and Schubert.
To tell a story
Dance and theater performances have a choice of places at Carré 150. We see there the documentary story Rose et la machine with Julie Le Breton, but also the classic Le vrai monde by Michel Tremblay? and the play Le loup by Nathalie Doummar. In the dance part, PPS Danse presents its new production Perles and the company Yvann Alexandre offers the public its latest creation.
For the Family
Two circus performances accessible from age 4 are offered: Département des retours and Octave. Two children’s theater plays give the opportunity to experience emotions together: Lou dans la nuit, aimed at 5 to 8 year olds and dealing with the little fears that Lou experiences at night, and Mononk Jules , a documentary theater for 15 years and more that goes back to the unknown history of the indigenous people of the 20e century, in the form of a story. In terms of music, Bleu Jeans Bleu, Ludovick Bourgeois and Les Trois Accords are sure to please every member of the family!

For the complete experience, enhance your outing at one of the partner restaurants, located a few steps from the cultural space. During your visit, you can also browse the current exhibition at the Center d’art Jacques-et-Michel-Auger, located inside Carré 150. Finally, to relax an hour before the show, the Laurier Lounge in the Les-frères-Lemaire room, as well as the bar of the Guy-Aubert cabaret await you.
