Bentley collaborated with designer “The Surgeon” to create a one-of-a-kind Flying Spur Hybrid with an exclusive livery.
A few days ago, the Art Basel event, an international contemporary art fair was held in Miami, United States. This time, the Crewe manufacturer presented a one off of Bentley Flying Spur Hybridmade in collaboration with Dominic Ciambrone, better known as “The Surgeon” (“the surgeon”).
The renowned custom footwear designer, who draws inspiration from high fashion and street culture, has designed a series of 10 limited edition pairs of sneakers for Bentley, and has collaborated with Mullinerthe advanced personalization division of Bentley, to achieve a single model of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid.
Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon: a unique model
The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon is distinguished by a two-tone dress combining the shades Anthracite and Anthracite Satin, complemented by black element which replaces the chrome inserts on the outside: we can see this “Black Pack” on the front blade, on the sills, on the rear diffuser, or on the carbon fiber trunk spoiler.
In contrast to these dark elements, there are some colorful touches of brass satin, located on the front and rear bumpers. Fine satin bronze edging also marks the lower sides of the car, while the 22-inch satin anthracite rims feature discreet satin bronze edging on their outer edges. The model logos are also decorated with a satin bronze finish, while the brand emblem on the bonnet is painted in glossy black and illuminated.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon: a bespoke interior
The interior of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid has also been revised for this version signed by The Surgeon, with linen colored leather on the seats, doors and lower trims, complete with bronze contrast stitching and matching piping. This upholstery contrasts with Beluga-colored leather, which can be seen on the upper trim, the center console and the rear parcel shelf, while the steering wheel subtly combines the two shades of leather.
The leather upholstery is highlighted by covers on walnut wood veneer, with a satin finish on the upper side and a glossy finish on the lower side. Various “Surgeon” logos are etched or embroidered on the board, while we find skull-shaped motifs accompanied by crossed scalpels, throughout the cabin.

Art Basel Miami 2022: three new models on display
Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon is not intended for sale. It is a showcase of what the Mulliner division can do best in terms of luxury car customization. This unique achievement was presented in the 2022 edition of the festival Art Basel in Miamijoined by two new models.
A Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible “Sager Strong” was inspired by Craig Sager, and more specifically by the jacket he wore to accept his Jimmy V Perseverance Award in 2016: this model will go up for auction at February 2023, and the proceeds will be donated to the fight against leukemia. Finally, a Continental GT V8 Convertible draws inspiration from the work of the famous Miami-based Brazilian artist Romero Britto and his colorful lifestyle that celebrates his pop art success.
