Graines Voltz’s turnover for the 2021/2022 financial year reached €132.2 million, an increase of 8.1% compared to the previous financial year[1].

Growth of +10.9% in strategic scope

On a like-for-like basis, the business grew 1.09% within the strategic range.

BUSINESS OUTLOOK FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022/2023

At this stage, it is difficult to set an activity objective for the current financial year due to the instability that remains in the markets due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and its economic consequences. However, the group noted that the initial sales numbers were for 1eh quarter is well engaged. However, this indicator should be evaluated with caution because the sales of 1eh quarter represents on average less than 10% of turnover for the financial year. However, and assuming that the economic and geopolitical situation does not deteriorate further, the group still considers as possible the growth hypothesis, in the current range, of 5 to 10% in 2022/2023.

Commenting on this news, Serge Voltz, Chairman and CEO said “The group’s activity has generally held up well in the unusually hostile context we had to face in our second half. Over the course of the financial year, turnover increased on a global basis and on a like-for-like basis Our development in young plants has played an important role in this evolution and strengthened our stability, especially the acquisition of André Briant Jeunes Plants (ABJP) at the beginning of 2022, whose prospects are very encouraging”.
