Resident Evil 4
In June 2022, Capcom formally produced the long-awaited remake of Resident Evil 4. Needless to say, the pressure was strong on the teams, since the title released in 2005 on the GameCube broke the codes of survival-horror . Players and the press then even talked about a revolution, a “before” and an “after” of Resident Evil 4. Finding a way to restore such a legend is a necessary delicate mission. The Japanese team decided to put the small dishes on the big one by offering completely reworked graphics, by dusting off the gameplay, and by changing various elements compared to the main game. Some fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the physical appearance of the hero, but also with the too “clean” aspect of the monsters and the scenery. Slitterhead is still a mysterious game. All that is known is that the player has to escape from the grip of the deformed creatures by attacking them with bloody katana blows. Therefore, action should play an important part in the experience, even if it is a terrible software.
