Automatic distribution. Movements in networks in December 2022

Several automotive brands reported the latest movements within their distribution network in December 2022. Note in particular the arrival in France of the Spanish group Oliva Motor, which took over the BMW-Mini dealership in Perpignan.

The Tenedor group has strengthened its position with the Toyota brand in the Aisne following the opening of a sales point in Soissons in January.



The German manufacturer reported that Spanish group Oliva Motor took over the distribution of the brand in Perpignan following the acquisition of the Alart company, run by Franck Alart. In addition to BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad, Oliva Motors distributes the Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Honda and MG brands. The Catalan operator has been present since 2017 with the brands of the German group in Girona, 100 kilometers from Perpignan, but it mainly works in Tarragona, Reus and Tortosa, south of Barcelona.

The Mini site in Grenoble center (Royal SA), owned by the Pautric group, has stopped its after-sales activities. However, it maintains the sale of new cars of the English brand. Repair activities are carried out from the concession of Meylan (Isère).

BMW France also confirms the sale to Eden Auto of the companies ABM Agen and ABM Périgueux, managed by the Sipa group. The latter also sold his business from the Montauban site (Tarn-et-Garonne) to the Raguin family.

GCA’s acquisition of the company Dynamism Automobiles (Sébastien Richer), which distributes BMW and Mini in Angers and Saumur (Maine-et-Loire), was also recorded in December 2022.

Mercedes Benz

The Étoile 03 Moulins concession, located in Avermes (Allier) and belonging to the Maurin group, stopped on 1eh January 2023 its utility vehicle distribution business. This site maintains an authorized activity in the repair of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, as well as the marketing and repair of passenger cars of the German brand. The sale of LCVs is changing in the case of Étoile 03 Montluçon (Combine).

The site of LG Royan Automobiles (Ludovic Garcia), which distributes a range of passenger cars, has been named an approved repairer for utility vehicles in 1eh January 2023.


The Altaïr group, led by Jérôme Daumont, closed its point of sale in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Essonne) in December 2022. The operator continues to occupy the territory with its Nissan dealership in Viry-Châtillon (Essonne ).

Within the Nissan Trucks network, the manufacturer mentioned the closure of the La Rochelle plant, managed by the France Poids Lourds group.


The manufacturer informs us of the acquisition of Alfa Romeo and Jeep activities in Castres by the Sud Auto group, headed by Laurent Toulemonde. The latter already distributes the Citroën, DS, Fiat and Fiat Professional brands in the sub-prefecture of Tarn, as well as Citroën in Mazamet (Tarn) and Revel (Haute-Garonne). Alfa Romeo and Jeep panels were previously represented in Castres by the Tressol-Chabrier group (Mondial Park Auto).

In Dunkirk (North), the company Westhoek Automobiles (Priod group) added the Jeep panel to the Opel brand at the end of 2022.

The Pedinielli Automobiles group, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023, has been appointed to distribute Abarth in Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) and Gap (Hautes-Alpes). The entity headed by Romain Pedinielli is already established in Manosque with the brands Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Hyundai, Isuzu and SsangYong. At Gap, it has Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep and Isuzu. Note that the family group is also a dealer in Pertuis (Hyundai, Isuzu) and Digne-les-Bains (Fiat).

At the end of 2022, the JMJ Automobiles group took over the distribution of Jeep, Fiat and Fiat Professional in Vesoul (Automobiles Franc-Comtoise; Haute-Saône), where it is already present in Citroën.

The manufacturer also confirms the cessation of LS Group activities in Nanterre with the Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Fiat, Abarth and Fiat Professional brands. These fell into the lap of subsidiary FCA Motor Village. In Châteauroux (Indre), the Parot group sold the distribution of Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Fiat and Fiat Professional to Gérald Richard (Amplitude) at the end of 2022.


The Tenedor group opened in January 2023 in Soissons (Aisne) a concession in the colors of the Japanese brand (TTR car). The operator already sells Toyota in Laon (Aisne), Reims and Épernay (Marne).
