HTC VIVE XR Elite: the name of the 5 games offered and the 83 official titles for release!
It was during the CES 2023 that the Taiwanese manufacturer released the HTC VIVE XR Elite, a headset AR/VR aims to compete with Meta Quest Pro. You can also find everything you need to know about him in our complete file on the site or in our video. Youtube.
The strength of Meta partly lies in its large catalog of games and native applications (more than 400 to date) and PICO this was well understood by strongly motivating developers to bring their games to Store. First, it works well, because within a few weeks, its content has grown to more than 200 applications and games from almost nothing. For now, HTC doesn’t seem motivated to feed its online store LIVEPORT for VIVE Focus 3but sold for months. The arrival of the HTC VIVE XR Elite therefore seems to have given wings to the manufacturer and the announcement of at least one hundred games available at launch caught our attention. We are waiting – with impatience – to see what will be offered.
HTC therefore only released a list of applications and games that will be available at launch, or shortly. As you can see, if you are used to VRwe are here worldwide in front of ports from the catalog Meta – including some must-haves – with exclusive titles, such as Hubrisbut not all are equally good and motivating for consumers. That said, for a launch it looks promising, but the question is if HTC will continue to drive future studios on the VIVE XR Elite beyond this timeaware that the baby still costs about 1,400 euros and it should not be sold in bulk. Of course, there won’t be many exclusives Meta as Defeat Saber, POPULATION: ONE o Marvel’s Iron Man VR recently released. However, since the headset is still dedicated to the PC VR first of all, there’s nothing stopping you from launching these titles with your PC.

If you want to pre-order the headset, you will have 5 games on offer. The selection aims to give an overview of the helmet’s possibilities: Green Hell VR is a FPS good quality safety equipment, Unplugged: Air Guitar highlights – in a very good way – hand tracking, Bodycombat by Les Mills is there for the fitness and sport side, Fligmin XR features augmented reality, while the interactive film glance focused on narrative possibilities. True, this choice may make purebred gamers smile, but it was particularly well thought out on the part of HTC because his headset is aimed at a wider audience.
We will have the opportunity – if all goes well – to test the HTC VIVE XR Elite early February, three short weeks before its release. We offer you our first impressions step by step.
