Who developed Minecraft Legends?
Minecraft Legends was developed by Mojang, the Swedish studio that created Minecraft, in partnership with Blackbird Interactive, a Canadian team that worked on the Homeworld series. To provide assistance, a third team located in Redmond is also working on the project.
In terms of history, what does it provide?
The beautiful lands of the Overworld find themselves threatened by an invasion of piglins. The player must send this invader back to where it came from, namely the Nether, by joining forces with other heroes to form important alliances.. Minecraft Legends will have a campaign “full of surprises for Minecraft newbies and veterans alike” according to the developers, which will talk about the legends of the Overworld and where the player will put on the road the protagonists who need his help. Hopefully, they will have solutions to offer against the Piglins. Like the original software, the universe will be both beautiful and somewhat disturbing, according to Mojang.
What is the genre of the game?
Minecraft Legends is an action-strategy game qualified as an RTS by its creators. In fact, the title will ask you to build bases while fending off various enemies that arrive in waves. The player must lead legions of mobs from the series’ bestiary to unite the people of the Overworld against the invasion of the piglins. Do you need to know Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons to appreciate the adventure?
According to Mojang, you don’t need to have played Minecraft to have a good time in Legends. “This is a game for everyone“WHO”covers a wide range of gameplay”. “If you are a connoisseur, you have played many of our other games, you will feel at home, but this is a different experience” explained Magnus Nedfors, creative director of the project. We already know that we will find Creepers, skeletons and zombies, and a whole bunch of new golems will be coming to the game. Pigs are portrayed as entertaining villains, having childish reactions and bringing comedy to the adventure.
Is there multiplayer?
Minecraft Legends will feature online co-op multiplayer. So you can collaborate with your friends to explore software campaigns. Competitive mode (PvP) is also accessible., which allows participants to send their many units to the teeth while creating a massive base. In fact, the PVP mode pits two teams, the blue and the orange, against each other on randomly generated maps. Each team can consist of four players. As the game progresses, participants gain access to tougher mobs and stronger structures. Some buildings carry damage bonuses to units and will therefore be priority targets for the enemy. So far, Minecraft Legends has been announced for the first half of 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch. The Mojang title will be available from its launch day on Game Pass.
