The Winners of the “45 seconds to replay a cult scene from fantasy cinema” competition.

Congratulations to the CFA Pôle des Métiers who won the competition in the “high school” category.
Partner of the event for 7 years now, Atelier Canopé 88 has offered for the second consecutive year a competition entitled 45 seconds to replay a cult scene from fantasy cinema.

Florent Kieffer with 2 CFA representatives.
This competition, which coincides with the Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival, is addressed to schools, colleges and high schools in the department whose students and their teachers compete every year in talent and ingenuity. Originally, it was a fantastic image competition, but since the 2022 edition, Canopé Vosges has decided to take a new step and evolve by offering young people the opportunity to give birth to a collective film. . And the least we can write is that the formula has something to attract since almost 270 students participated in the competition this year, that is, 13 schools represented for 35 films in the competition!
35 creations for 270 participants

MCL welcomed the representatives of the participating establishments.
This Tuesday, as an appetizer to the Fantastic Film Festival, the award ceremony was held at the MCL in Gérardmer through a ceremony organized by Canopé Vosges mediator Florent Kieffer and his team, all in the presence of the president of the Pierre Sachot festival and the youth assistant of the local municipality in the person of Karine Bédez. Part of the jury also traveled, knowing that the latter was partly composed of image professionals (2 directors from the Vosges, a project manager of the artistic creation of the center of the City of Épinal, the person in charge of the public at the Museo Spinalian Image etc.). Jurors who had the heavy task of deciding between 35 creations, but also enjoyed watching them and seeing the progress made every year by the youth of the Vosges.
The 5th Element strong and gentle
But this is the principle of a competition, there must be winners, in this case three, one per category, and exclusively not one but three favorites for this edition. In the high school category, the CFA Pôle des Métiers d’Épinal won with a scene from the film The 5th Element by Luc Besson. An exciting collective project that brought together 6 sectors (Hairdressing, Aesthetics-Cosmetics-Perfumery, Sales, Body Painter, Automotive Mechanics and Baker). After months of preparation, filming took place on Friday January 6, 2023 all day at CFA in a professional and fun environment. The film made it possible to highlight the knowledge of the apprentices while maintaining the freedom to create and play. It was a perfect success and the students had a unique experience. The result is amazing!
A view on the water next year?

Congratulations to the CLAS students of Xonrupt-Longemer school.
In the middle school category, the students of Michel Montagne in Dompaire won a scene from The New Mutants and compelling acting from the various leads. Note that they participated in the ceremony via videoconference thanks to the Canopé technical team! In the main category, students of Xonrupt school who took part in MCL’s CLAS and chose to replay a scene from ghostbusters ! Each winner allowed their establishment to win an aquatic digital camera, as Canopé plans to offer to replay an underwater (or at least aquatic) scene next year, looks promising! As for favorites, they are linked to The Nightmare Before Christmas after school care for Jean Macé (Gérardmer), The Lord of the Rings from Elsa Triolet’s college in Thaon, and another scene from ghostbusters of Claude Gellée high school in Épinal!
